We are excited to announce that we are almost ready to release this massive update. Obviously, there have been some delays. We are going to explain the situation below ⬇️
Make sure you read carefully because we need your help 🤝
Many of the bugs came to light due to an authentication tool that we were using. This tool allowed seamless web3 integration into the app and allowed us to move through apple and google store reviews faster 🔥
This tool allowed us to be ready to release the update today, but we do have some precise instructions that users must follow to enable the latest version of the app. If you do not follow these instructions: You may incur a loss of funds and/or NFTs when sending these assets to your account ⚠️
The options:
1️⃣ We release now, but we will require users to open the app for 15 seconds, close it, open it again, and check whether they have the new version (we will describe the appropriate changes). This option brings risks that involve different users using different versions of the app - and may result in a loss of assets/accounts.
2️⃣ We will submit the latest app version for review by apple and google. This submission will make the update automatic but will force us to release it tomorrow or the day after. We will also give all existing users a free accessory if we opt for this.
In short, option 1 is an immediate release but may bring significant issues. Option 2 brings a few days of delay but is safer and more secure.
We are now activating the GetKicks community to choose what is best. You will find options 1 and 2 in a poll on our Twitter which will be posted shortly. Please choose wisely!
